Did you hear that Google+ launched Pages today? Here is a TechCrunch article that provides a great overview. We just added our profile and it only took a few minutes.

Great article on shopping local at GTR Newspapers. There are many reasons to support local businesses, but the article cites Tulsa-Centric:
“For every $100 you spend at a local merchant, 68 of those dollars return to the community. When spent at a national chain, only $43 stay in the community.” This doesn’t even take in to consideration how much we’re lessening our carbon footprint by cutting down on shipping, hauling and packaging.”
